This Vintage 1977 Cartier Baignoire ladies watch features an oval 22mm 18ct yellow gold case, a white oval dial with roman numerals, with blue steel hands, acrylic glass, and a blue cabochon gem set crown. Powered by manual winding, mechanical movement. On a Must De Cartier black leather strap, with a gold plated buckle.

The Cartier Baignoire is based on an unnamed design from 1912 that was gifted by Louis Cartier to Russian Grand Duchess Pavlovna. The model was only released to the general public in 1957 under the ‘baignoire’ moniker, from the French word for bathtub. Fittingly, this elegant ladies model gives us the same fuzzy feeling as slipping into a warm bathtub!
