This 1993 Rolex Explorer II 40mm is crafted in stainless steel and features the distinctive white Polar dial with black-outlined hour markers and hands. A red 24-hour hand, fixed engraved 24-hour bezel, date display with Cyclops lens and stainless steel Oyster bracelet complete the design.
The Explorer II was introduced in 1971 as a professional watch designed for explorers and adventurers. Reference 16570 continued the collection with a 40mm case and, in this 1993 example, is powered by the automatic Rolex calibre 3185.
