This vintage circa 1980s Piaget Protocole 26mm features a square champagne dial with no hour markers and a black leather bracelet. It also features a 18ct yellow gold square bezel.
The Protocole line descend from a watch introduced in 1963 with a 9P movement. It was square with cut corners (unequal octagon) with engine-turned vetical stripes on bezel and dial. The key design motifs are the square with cut-off corners, vertical stripes and the ultra-thin case. Later, Piaget expanded the line to include Protocole Ronde (round). Protocole XL and Miss Protocole cases.
