This 2005 Rolex Explorer II features a 40mm Oystersteel case paired with a stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Its distinctive white ‘Polar’ dial features black-outlined luminous hour markers and hands, a red 24-hour hand, date display with Cyclops lens and a fixed engraved 24-hour bezel.
Introduced in 1989, reference 16570 became one of the longest-running Explorer II references, designed to distinguish between day and night and track an additional time zone. This 2005 example is powered by the automatic Rolex calibre 3185.
